Drum filter type FTR - High separation rate even at larger flows
Application area
FTR is a fully automatic and self-cleaning plant that handles both cutting fluids and straight oils in grinding or cutting processing.
Function
The fluid is pumped from the machine into a chamber at the back of the plant
Larger particles and chips are directly separated with the help of the scraper conveyor which continuously transports particles to the collection container.
The drum filter is placed horizontally in the filter chamber, the drum consists of a strong frame around which a stainless steel mesh with a synthetic material filter cloth is placed. The large area allows a high flow and efficient separation.
By building up a filter cake, the cleaning continuously increases, when the flow through the drum decreases, an automatic cleaning process starts with the help of backflushing. The operation is not affected by the cleaning process.

Standard modules from 100 l/min up to 2.500 l/min.
Features
Thanks to a double-acting system, the filter has a very high separation capacity in combination with a very good ability to separate very small particles.
FTR is an excellent plant for processing with high demands on precision and finish.
Accessories
When grinding magnetic material, the plant can be complemented with a powerful permanent magnetic plate on the front inclined part of the plant, to effectively separate the majority of the particles at an early stage.
These particles are transported away by the scraper conveyor.
