Refine Your Chips - Transport, Crush, Centrifuge, and Purify

Chip centrifuges type Scoro and Hydramax - Almost 100% recovery of cutting fluid!

Application area

Chip centrifuge for de-oiling of short metal chips.

Function

Chip centrifuge type Scoro – Continuously working chip centrifuges.

The oil-coated chips are fed through the inlet and fall down to the centrifuge drum. The drum is designed so that the chips move upwards and pass a sieve grid. As the chips pass the sieve grid, the fluid is pressed through this and the dry chips fall over the edge and down into the chip box. The fluid that passes the sieve grid is led down to a container to be reused in production.

Chip centrifuge type Hydramax working principle has a special function in the form of a so-called lift bottom construction. When the chips are fed down to the bottom of the centrifuge drum, they are slowly lifted upwards by the bottom of the centrifuge slowly rising so that the chips’ passage past the sieve grid occurs controlled over a longer period of time, which results in an extremely efficient de-oiling with very low residual moisture. The dry chips then fall over the edge of the drum and further down into a chip container or conveyor for further feeding. The fluid that passes the sieve grid is led down to a container to be reused in production.
